Bitget Guide

A step-by-step guide from signup to Coperral linking.

1. New signup

The first step: sign up with the Coperral code to activate payback.

1Tap the 'Signup link' on the Coperral Bitget page and the referral code is applied automatically.
2Create an account with your email or phone number.
3Set a password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
4After signup, confirm that the Coperral code was applied.
Sign up with email or phone number, and enter the Coperral code in the referrer (referral) field at the signup step so payback is linked. The code cannot be changed after signup, so be sure to enter it at signup. Korean users can sign up and use the service, but deposits, trading, and withdrawals are all blocked until identity verification (KYC) is complete.

2. KYC verification

Complete the exchange's identity verification to enable withdrawals and settlement.

1Prepare a government ID (passport or driver's license).
2In the Bitget app/web, go to Account > Verification (KYC).
3Follow the prompts to capture and submit your ID and a facial verification.
4Approval usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
As of January 1, 2024, KYC is effectively mandatory for all users. You must complete Level 1 identity verification (government-issued ID: ID card/passport/driver's license/residence permit + facial verification) to enable deposits, trading, and withdrawals (including on-chain withdrawals and internal transfers); core features are unusable without it. It operates in Level 1/Level 2 tiers, and after verification your withdrawal limits depend on your VIP tier (0-7). Review is usually processed automatically within a few minutes to 60 minutes (24-48 hours at peak times). To meet the Korea Travel Rule, matching your KYC to the same English name (romanized passport spelling) as on your domestic exchange helps prevent info-mismatch issues on transfers of 1M KRW or more.

3. Find and link your UID

Register your exchange UID with Coperral to start earning payback.

1App: Tap the profile icon at the top left of the home screen > open [Profile] > your UID (a number) appears below your name/email, with a copy icon next to it.
2Web: After logging in, hover over the [My Profile] icon at the top right and your UID is shown for copying. Or click the icon and check it under [Dashboard].
3The UID is a unique identifier assigned automatically at signup; it differs from your email/phone and cannot be changed.
4Menu names/positions may vary by app version (top left vs top right, etc.).

4. REF transfer (existing accounts)

Even if you already have an account, you may be able to switch your referral to Coperral.

1As a rule, you cannot change or remove your referrer (referral) code after signup. The code is entered only once at signup and stays fixed once bound.
2Exception 1: A new user who entered no code at signup can still add/bind the Coperral code afterward, only within 7 days of signup and only if no other code has ever been used.
3Exception 2 (support): If you just signed up, you can try asking Bitget customer support (Support Center > Referral Code Assistance) to change/add it, providing your signup date and code info (approval not guaranteed).
4An existing account already bound to another referrer is effectively unchangeable. To apply Coperral, the surest path is to close the existing account and sign up fresh with a new email, entering the Coperral code at the signup step.
5Caution when re-signing up: KYC may block duplicate verification with the same ID, and one person is allowed only one Bitget account in principle. Creating multiple accounts may violate the terms, so decide carefully.
6Korea Travel Rule: Bitget is a whitelisted exchange integrated with domestic exchanges via VerifyVASP and CODE solutions. When sending from a domestic exchange to Bitget, transfers of 1M KRW or more require matching sender/receiver info, so it's recommended to align your KYC to your passport's romanized English name.
Exchanges subject to the Travel Rule may have extra steps such as identity verification and withdrawal limits.

This guide is based on each exchange's official help center and public materials, but exchange app/web UIs and policies change frequently. If menu names or locations differ, follow the exchange's customer support or the latest in-app screens.
