MEXC Guide

A step-by-step guide from signup to Coperral linking.

1. New signup

The first step: sign up with the Coperral code to activate payback.

1Tap the 'Signup link' on the Coperral MEXC page and the referral code is applied automatically.
2Create an account with your email or phone number.
3Set a password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
4After signup, confirm that the Coperral code was applied.
Korean interface supported. It's safest to enter the referral code at the signup step. Linking a code after signup is only possible within 30 days and cannot be changed once linked, so enter the Coperral code from the start. MEXC's standard referral discount cap is usually around 10-20% of trading fees, so be cautious of anywhere advertising figures far above that.

2. KYC verification

Complete the exchange's identity verification to enable withdrawals and settlement.

1Prepare a government ID (passport or driver's license).
2In the MEXC app/web, go to Account > Verification (KYC).
3Follow the prompts to capture and submit your ID and a facial verification.
4Approval usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
KYC has 2 levels: Basic and Advanced. Basic KYC (nationality/name/ID/date of birth, ~24 hours) gives a 24-hour withdrawal limit of about 80 BTC; Advanced KYC (adds real-time facial recognition, ~48 hours) about 200 BTC. Spot/futures trading is possible without KYC, but features like withdrawals are restricted. With the Travel Rule in effect, Korean users effectively need MEXC KYC to deposit/withdraw between domestic exchanges and MEXC.

3. Find and link your UID

Register your exchange UID with Coperral to start earning payback.

1Web: After logging in, click the profile icon at the top right > select [Identification] > your UID is shown along with KYC info. Click the UID number to copy it.
2App: Tap the profile icon at the top left (or right) > click [>] next to your nickname > check your UID on the account/KYC info screen. The UID is shown near your nickname/email.
3Note: The UID is a unique identifier assigned automatically at signup. The menu name (Identification/identity verification/account info, etc.) may vary by app version.

4. REF transfer (existing accounts)

Even if you already have an account, you may be able to switch your referral to Coperral.

1MEXC allows self-service referrer linking only within 30 days of signup (official policy). If more than 30 days have passed, changing/linking a referrer on the existing account is not possible.
2If within 30 days: Help Center > [Self-Service Referrer Linking](https://www.mexc.com/support/bind-inviter) page > enter Coperral's referral code or UID > link. Once linked, it cannot be changed afterward (permanent).
3Conditions where linking is not possible: the referrer signed up later than you, the same identity info was used, a non-existent code/UID, or a sub-account (main account only).
4Since an account already linked to another referrer or past 30 days cannot change the code, the surest way to receive Coperral payback is to create a new account with the Coperral referral code (move/withdraw existing assets to the new account and use them there).
5When moving assets to the new account: Korean exchange -> MEXC transfers are subject to the Travel Rule, so even the new MEXC account requires KYC completion before deposits/withdrawals with domestic exchanges are possible.
Exchanges subject to the Travel Rule may have extra steps such as identity verification and withdrawal limits.

This guide is based on each exchange's official help center and public materials, but exchange app/web UIs and policies change frequently. If menu names or locations differ, follow the exchange's customer support or the latest in-app screens.
