GRVT Guide

A step-by-step guide from signup to Coperral linking.

1. New signup

The first step: sign up with the Coperral code to activate payback.

1Tap the 'Signup link' on the Coperral GRVT page and the referral code is applied automatically.
2Create an account with your email or phone number.
3Set a password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
4After signup, confirm that the Coperral code was applied.
GRVT is a self-custody hybrid exchange. Creating an account via email/Google/Microsoft OAuth lets you use 'non-trading' features like KYC, rewards, and portfolio, and to actually trade you must register a wallet (if it's your first time, you can create a default GRVT wallet without a seed phrase). The referrer code applies only at signup (first wallet connect/signature) and cannot be changed afterward, so if you want payback, you must start signup with the Coperral code. There are geolocation restrictions, so trading may be blocked in some countries.

2. KYC verification

Complete the exchange's identity verification to enable withdrawals and settlement.

1Prepare a government ID (passport or driver's license).
2In the GRVT app/web, go to Account > Verification (KYC).
3Follow the prompts to capture and submit your ID and a facial verification.
4Approval usually takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
KYC is required to trade (no deposits/trading without KYC). It involves uploading a photo of your ID (not a screenshot) + a selfie (facial recognition). GRVT is a regulated exchange holding a Bermuda Class M license and applies AML policies. Whether Korea is supported is not clearly confirmed by public sources, so before signing up, it's recommended to check the regional restrictions/supported countries and the KYC procedure directly on the GRVT signup page.

3. Find and link your UID

Register your exchange UID with Coperral to start earning payback.

1GRVT is a self-custody (wallet-based) hybrid exchange, so its identifier structure differs from the simple numeric UID of other CEXes. The identifier is the 'Account ID (Funding Account ID),' which is linked to the wallet address that created the account.
2After logging in to GRVT on web/app, go to the 'Portfolio' page > check your trading account and Account ID in the 'Trading Accounts' section.
3Or go to the profile/account menu at the top right > Settings > API Management window to see your Main Account ID and Trading Account ID.
4Which identifier to submit for settlement (Account ID vs wallet address vs UID) may depend on the Coperral/GRVT affiliate policy, so confirm the exact value type with Coperral before submitting.
5Menu names may vary by app/web version.

4. REF transfer (existing accounts)

Even if you already have an account, you may be able to switch your referral to Coperral.

1On GRVT, changing your referrer code after signup is not possible. The referrer code is 'permanently' linked to your wallet address at signup (the moment you first connect your wallet and approve the signature request), and cannot be added/changed afterward.
2Therefore, an account already signed up with a different referrer cannot be transferred to the Coperral code.
3To receive Coperral payback, you must sign up with a 'new account (new wallet address)' using the Coperral referral link/code.
4To be sure, you can ask GRVT support (contact@grvt.io or help.grvt.io) once more whether the referrer can be changed, but per public info it cannot.
5Note: When signing up anew, withdrawals/transfers in Korea, etc. may be subject to the Travel Rule (virtual-asset transfer regulation), so check the Travel Rule policies of the sending/receiving wallets/exchanges on deposit/withdrawal.
Exchanges subject to the Travel Rule may have extra steps such as identity verification and withdrawal limits.

This guide is based on each exchange's official help center and public materials, but exchange app/web UIs and policies change frequently. If menu names or locations differ, follow the exchange's customer support or the latest in-app screens.
